Beschreibung

We're close to the towns of Saumur (22k), Angers (45k); Tours (55k) and Le Mans (50k). Markets can be found locally as well as supermarkets, petrol stations, boulangeries, butchers, bars and cafés.
Chateaux and wine tours are within an easy drive and the area is mainly flat for cyclists.

Die Gegebenheiten

Friendly and convivial.
There's very little noise except from infrequent traffic on the quiet country lane which serves as access to our home and our neighbour's homes.
The skies are dark, the ambience is peaceful and reviving !

Die Plätze

Ten pitches arranged around the outside of our campsite, with a central play area for the children and a BBQ/Picnic/firepit area for adults and children alike.

Die sanitären Anlagen

We have a separate shower/toilet block with two showers, two toilets (one is disabled friendly) and three hand basins. Hot water is free, and plentiful.
An additional toilet/motorhome waste disposal point is available too.

Die Ausstattung

We offer internet via. a site-wide wifi signal (not free, but very cheap).
There's a small splash pool to cool down in when the weather's hot.
There's a full kitchen with ALL amenities reserved solely for use by campers and we offer hot food during the daytime, as well as a sit down, four course meal twice weekly by reservation.
Pizzas are available from our bread oven every Wednesday evening.
The electricity supply is available by bollard with the standard EU plug. 6-amp only. You can leave mobile phones, cameras etc. with us to charge for a small fee.
We have several cycles available for guests to use at no charge.
We also sell bottled and draught beers, wines, soft drinks, sweets and ice creams.

Die Aktivitäten

We have a small splash pool to cool off in, as well as a ping-pong table and a pool table. Outdoor games can be played and there's a play area with swings and tree-house available for the children.
The area is great for cycling and there are many routes available for both cyclists and walkers/hikers of varying levels.
Lake swimming is available nearby as are river cruises and canoes/kayaking.
